REBLOG TO WIN!
I was printing photos today and wanted to see what this photo would look like large, so I decided to print an extra copy to give away! This is an 8.5x11 print of Stephen Gomez from The Summer Set. I put an index card up for size comparison.
I’m giving this away in hopes that fellow rebloggers will see the link for the Beyond The Barricade Photography BigCartel print store and will support us and our photo endeavors by purchasing a print or two. Explore our Flickr to see the endless number of options - we have over 3000 photos on there.
We don’t make any money through the site and Cara and I just upgraded gear in order to produce better photos so help us help you by purchasing a photo :) They look really great and until tomorrow (June 1) we are upgrading the prints under $5 to the next size up at no cost!
So like what you see? Help a girl out and reblog and I’ll choose a winner on June 2nd!

Rams Head Live - Baltimore, MD
———————————————————————————————————
This past Sunday, April 29th, A Rocket To The Moon came through Baltimore, MD supporting The All-American Rejects. As a fan of both artists, I was excited to see how this tour would play out - Rocket is a band on the rise in “the scene” and have really stepped up their game these past few years, but The Rejects have been going strong for 10 years.
From the perspective of someone who is familiar with the band’s music, ARTTM sounded the best I’ve ever heard them. The harmonies between Nick Santino and Justin Richards were on point and the new song from their recent recording stint in Nashville, “Going Out,” is sure to be a jam of mine when it’s officially released.
Unfortunately, the Rams Head crowd wasn’t entirely made up of Rocket fans, and the “country-pop-rock” sound that the band has going for them didn’t seem to be pumping up the older, drunker, All-American Rejects fans. Interaction between the two reached a high when they began strumming the first few notes to the Tom Petty classic, “Free Fallin’” and stayed on that level as they continued on with a full cover of the song. Despite not winning over the entire venue, the band did have fan support at the show, truly sounded great, and looked like they were having fun the entire time on stage.
If you’re a fan of either band, try to hit up this tour when it rolls through your city. Both A Rocket To The Moon and The All-American Rejects put on a great show and it’s a chance to hear a few of your favorite Rocket songs before they retire them for newer material.

Check out my photos and a quick review of the show above!
3 years ago today (April 25, 2009) I shot my first show with a photo pass. It was the Believers Never Die Part Deux Tour w/ Fall Out Boy, All Time Low, Cobra Starship, 50 Cent (don’t know why he was there but I loved him in 6th grade so I was excited), and Hey Monday.
It’s crazy to see how much my photography has grown and how different I am because of it. I know I’ve said thank you a lot lately (since we reached 100k photostream views on the BTB flickr, and are near approaching 1million total views), but seriously, thank you to anyone who has ever supported me in any way. I would not be here if I didn’t get the kind words and support from anyone who has viewed a photo of mine or any of my friends (photo and non photo) that keep pushing me to expand my concert photo skills and try new things.
The photos on the left are of All Time Low at that first show, and the photos on the right are from more recently (May/July 2011). THANK YOU AGAIN!!
